1971: Museum - Art Gallery

Professor Vincenzo Brocco, one of the founders of the museum, writes: “The Museum-Art Gallery is finally a reality: it is located on the ground floor of the town hall, in two restaured rooms. The works of art have a huge emotional connection with the inhabitants of Mogliano, as they represent what we managed to link with our ancestors.”. On January 3rd the museum was inaugurated.

1979: Parochial Museum of Saint Mary

A few years after the inauguration, thanks to Prof. Brocco skills, the archpriest of Saint Mary Church, Don Marcello Bernacchia, delegate to the professor the organization of the museum in the Church, that was constituted by six rooms with the artworks of many churches belonging to the Parish. It was inaugurated on March 18th.

2016: Museum of the Holy Art

In 2015 the Town of Mogliano decided to continue the work of protection and conservation: the museum’s building was entirely restored, redecorated and modernised according to today’s museological criteria. The artworks, placed according the Church of origin, are now a testimony of the past and an unicum: in this way, it is possible to restore the memory, rediscover beauty and the devotion that inspired them.
